The Trinket of Deflection is one of the ten Artifacts in WRATH: Aeon of Ruin. It was first introduced in the Update Content #3, appearing in the level The Hollow.
The Trinket of Deflection appears as a mirror-like blue shield with two golden archs and a crown with a skull motif.
Once used, the Trinket of Deflection generates a small dome made out of blue-colored energy, which deflects enemy projectiles but lets the Outlander fire through from the inside. It is useful for defence against long-ranged enemies, but requires the Outlander to remain stationary to make an use of the dome. The dome cannot physically block enemies themselves, so they may still reach the Outlander within for engaging in a melee.
The dome lasts for twenty seconds. The dome will start to blink five seconds before it fades out completely.
