The Confounding Altar is one of the Artifacts in WRATH: Aeon of Ruin. First appearing in The Gardens, it has been added in the Content Update #1. [1]
The Confounding Altar appears as a decahedron flask that contains a dark-yellow liquid. When used, it is thrown, shattering and releasing its contents in the gaseous form. This gas confuses the affected enemies, changing their target from Outlander to the nearest other creature, starting an infight.
